On 12-14 February 2014 a workshop on integrated technologies in intensive care on the example of ICU station MythoVent took place. The main purpose of the event was live discussion on intensive care and sharing the experience between the leading anesthesiologists from Germany and Russia.
On 12-14 February 2014 a workhop on "Advanced technologies in intensive care" for the anaesthesiologists took place at MS Westfalia headquarters.
The workshop was held in the form of live discussion and sharing of experience among the leading German and Russian anaesthesiologists. Professor Rudolf Hipp told the participants about integrated technologies in the field of intensive care and their application in the ICU expert station MythoVent . All participants were given the opportunity to "work" on the device themselves and to discover new opportunities of advanced technologies.
Practical part of the event was completed with a tour to the world history museum of anesthesia of Medical University of Bonn, where Professor Horst Shtokel introduced to the guests inventions that are already part of the history of anaesthesiology - including those of professor Trendelenburg, professor Hipp and his own.
The event was covered by the German media as part of the 20th anniversary of the museum celebration. Correspondents interviewed Russian doctors with special attention because many Russian anaesthesiologists had already been included in Dr. Shtokel’s book on the history of world anaesthesia.
MS Westfalia GmbH thanks the participants of the workshop for the unforgettable interesting time that we spent together.
