Cirius - modular ophtalmic laser system
Unique system, which allows to combine up to 3 laser modules with different functions in one compact workstation. Cirius Qlight — solid laser disruptor (1064 nm). Cirius GreenLight — solid laser coagulator (532 nm). Cirius Trabecula — solid SLT module (532 nm).
With modular ophtalmic laser system Cirius it is possible to create rather separate workplaces for big clinics (with own laser surgery departments, specialized surgeons, numerous patients and sufficient floor space) or a combined system for various laser procedures at one workstation for small clinics.
Hermetically-sealed laser emitter and absence of built-in or external fans increase laser coagulator life by 4 times comparing with analogue lasers of other manufacturers. GreenLight module is 1.5 times smaller than the majority of well-known analogues. Green laser weight is just 7 kg.
The specialist can select the type of lens on the Cirius GreenLight coagulator touch screen control panel and see a spot diameter according to the adjustment scale and a true spot diameter on the retina. There's no need to make allowance for the lens type while calculating the operation parameters or to change the settings during the survey.
Two rotating aiming beams of a Cirius Qlight disruptor module exactly repeat the laser cone outline from bottom to top. In case of obstacles on the way of laser beams the target spots start blinking. It allows the surgeon to notice the obstacle and to try to remove it by changing the position of lens, arm or slit lamp light.
With the help of a touch screen panel one can set up and save 8 profile settings for eight doctors. Each profile contains 9 operation patterns for a GreenLight laser module. Disruptor module has its own operation setting monitor mounted on a working desktop. All the adjusting elements are located on the slit lamp console.
The lack of free wires and large unfixed laser modules on the desktop provides safety and comfort. GreenLight module control panel with a touch screen can be separated from the main body and replaced on a special holder, providing easy access to all adjustments.
In case of using different modules configuration at one workplace it is not possible to activate any laser module except one chosen by the specialist for the actual survey.
Cirius laser systems can be equipped with digital photo- and video cameras for displaying surgery process on the monitor and for image recording.
